Hello! My name is Hanah Sims, and I teach English Language Arts grades 6-12 including grammar, written composition, young adult novels, classic American poetry, and a little bit of everything else sprinkled in between. I graduated from Lauderdale County High School in 2015 and have lived and worked in the Lauderdale-Limestone county, North Alabama area all my life. My passion for reading and writing developed as a senior in high school, and I was fortunate enough to pursue my dream of teaching English by attending Calhoun Community College. I received my Associate of General Studies from Calhoun in 2016, and I went on to receive my Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts from Athens State University in December of 2018. I look forward to exploring and discussing literature throughout the year!
